WBJEE2025 results on WBGEB.NIC.in; Scorecard, check the reasons for delay and what to look next to

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEB) on Friday announced the final result of the WBJEE 225 after the delay in legal problems. Candidates present for the test can now access and download their rank cards from official websites – WGBEB.NIC.in and WBJEB.in. A notification on the board’s homepage is read: “Watch the rank card for WBJE 2025/has been downloaded.” Students can log in with their credentials to get a scorecard available for download in PDF format.

 

How to check the result of WBJEE 2025

  1. Visit the official website: WBJEB.NIC.in
  2. Click on the “WGJEE225 Result” link displayed on the homepage
  3. Enter the roll number and date of birth or password on the login page
  4. The result will appear on the screen
  5. Download and save the rank card
  6. Take a printout for future use

Delay and court proceedings

The result was originally announced on August on August, but the release was postponed due to contempt of action in the Calcutta High Court. The issue arose after the complaint was received by Justice Kausik Chanda for the James-PG (Medical Postgraduate) exam-Mareit-Sistual Candidate and WBJEE Board itself. Acting on this, the court realized the matter.

The court then directed the board to create and release the revised quality list. After that, the WBJEBB asked the reserved candidates to upload their caste certificate to the official portal before the results were finalized.

WBJEE is a state-level entrance examination for admission to graduate programs in West Bengal for the 2025-222220 academic events in engineering, technology, pharmacy and architecture in self-financial colleges.
