APPSC Planning for Large Change: P premames can be held only if the application exceeds 200 times the vacancies

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) on Monday proposed a major change in the examination process for government job recruitment in various departments of the state.

APPSC is planning to take the primary exam only if the number of applications received is higher than the number of notified posts.

This means that if a notification is issued for 100 posts, the preliminary (prelims) exam will be conducted if more than 20,000 applications are received. If the number of applications is not received, the commission can take direct single-page recruitment process or mens examination.

Without considering the number of vacancies, the APPSC premiums and the Men’s exams if the number of applications exceed 25,000.

However, the Commission now states that it causes unnecessary costs and waste of time. As a result, he has proposed this new filtering system to the state government. If approved, many APSCs can be recruited with only one exam instead of two.
